Executive Director Wanted: Delaware County Community Foundation
DCCF is a tax-exempt public charity created in 2002 to promote legacy philanthropy in Delaware County. Working closely with professional advisors, DCCF assists donors who want to help the county through grantmaking and preserving local capital for the community.
Families, estates, individuals, corporation and foundations that create endowed funds through the community foundation, instead of setting up their own private funds, save set-up and administrative expenses and benefit from professional management and strategic legacy philanthropy within the county. Income from invested assets is dispersed in the form of grants to meet the community's current and future charitable needs.
Donors can select from a variety of funds to benefit charities of their choice. Also available are seven field of interest funds approved by the DCCF board: environment, arts and culture, historic preservation, education, children and families, health care and civic engagement.
