Women’s Medical Fund Seeking Development Manager

The Development Manager will report to the Executive Director.

This person will:

• Help organize and execute a three-year development plan.

• Help plan and execute fundraising events.

• Write and produce marketing and fundraising materials such as the annual newsletter and direct mail solicitations.

• Conduct research on individual and foundation donors and prospects.

• Assist the Executive Director in cultivating relationships for individual and foundation giving.

• Research, write and assemble proposals for foundation fundraising.

• Manage donor database, tracking and recording donor relationships, building donor profiles, and researching donor’s interests, giving patterns, and philanthropic capabilities.

• Assists the Board of Directors with their fundraising activities as directed by the Executive Director.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree.

• At least two years of fundraising experience with emphasis on individual donor fundraising.

• Knowledge of fundraising databases and MS Office (MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
