VISTA Opportunity in Lovely Louisiana

Come sample the music, the food and the diversity that embodies the "spirit" of Louisiana while helping to solve the area's poverty-related problems. The Town of Vivian, located 30 miles north of Shreveport, Louisiana, has a vision to create a Health Care and Educational Alliance. Too many of their children are not receiving needed medical care and are not reaching their potential in school. As a VISTA, your help and expertise in healthcare, education, and in creating and sustaining public/private collaboration will all contribute in bringing this vision to life!
