The Volunteer Center of Rhode Island is looking for a Special Events and Marketing VISTA

• Assist the Communications Coordinator with the day to day marketing needs of the agency, as well as assisting all staff in meeting their special event needs.
• Write newspaper columns and articles on volunteer opportunities and highlighting volunteerism.
• Design marketing materials including program brochures. Maintain and update agency information and volunteer opportunities for VCRI’s online database.
• Assist in agency outreach to encourage usage of VCRI services (ie., list their opportunities, become members, attend our workshops, etc.).
• Distribute marketing materials to public places and be available for speaking opportunities about VCRI.
• Assist in planning and implementation of agency fundraisers and events.

 

VISTA is looking for experienced, energetic individuals who want to make a full-time, year long commitment to fight poverty.
