Coming of Age, a grantee of The Atlantic Philanthropies, is a Philadelphia-based national initiative that was created in 2002 to help people age 50+ explore their futures, promote 50+ connection and contribution, and build stronger non-profits and communities. We currently have initiatives in Philadelphia, Delaware, and Central PA (site coming soon). We also have a site in Delaware County and initiatives in Kansas City and San Francisco are coming soon.
In Philadelphia, Coming of Age is a partnership of The Intergenerational Center at Temple University, WHYY Wider Horizons, AARP Pennsylvania, and United Way of Southeastern Pennsylvania.
