Disability Pride Philadelphia Celebration

The National Constitution Center is holding a day-long Disability Pride celebration, starting at 11 a.m. on July 28, 2012 to mark the passing of the American with Disabilities Act (ADA) in 1990. The wheel chair that disability advocate, Justin Dart, Jr. sat in to witness President George H. W. Bush's signing of the bill, will be unveiled by this wife. There will be guest speakers, performances and booths throughout the day. Free admission. A special reception will be held at Liberty Resources, 7th and Market Sts. Click here for the day's agenda.
