TemPALS

Temple University students hail from more than 100 countries. The TemPALS program, a collaborative project of Coming of Age, Temple’s Alumni Office, and the university’s International Services Program, brings together Temple graduates 50 and older with international students. The TemPALS help these new students adjust culturally and socially to the university and to the Philadelphia area. The alumni really enjoy acting as guides and mentors for the students and having a chance to learn more about their student’s home country. To date, more than 120 TemPALS and an equal number of students have participated.
