If you’re in Southern Chester County, check out the United Way of Southern Chester County.  
 
Greater Philadelphia Cares organizes volunteers each month to serve on projects throughout the region.    If you would like to learn how to participate in their monthly projects, you first need to attend a Voluntour.
 
Our region’s RSVP’s, which connect volunteers age 55 and over with service opportunities in their communities, are another great resource; their sites also have volunteer opportunities search engines.   So… check out  Bucks County RSVP,  Delaware County RSVP, Montgomery County RSVP, Chester County RSVP, Philadelphia East RSVP, or Philadelphia West RSVP.
 
Statewide resources are available via PennSERVE, the Governor's Office of Citizen Service.
